Teacher aides provide an extra pair of hands, eyes and ears in the classroom which means more individual attention for each child in the class.  Our aides bring dedication, care and commitment to our program and the children they serve.

 


 

 

 

 

 

Meet our Teacher Aides

Mary Heck, aideMary Heck - aide in Mrs. Meier's 3's and 4's classes.

This is Mary's 9th year on staff at Bethlehem Preschool. She and her husband have 3 children. The Hecks are members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where Mary can frequently be found cooking in the kitchen or singing with the choir. In her spare time, Mary enjoys sewing, baking, reading and spending time with her friends and family and especially her new granddaughter.

TeriTeri Robinson - aide in Mrs. Sellke's 3's and 4's classes.

Teri and her husband Don are proud parents of active eight-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). Teri enjoys volunteering in her children's classrooms and at class parties. She is also active at Trinity Lutheran Church, assisting in Sunday School, Children's Church and Vacation Bible School. In her spare time, Teri likes to read, work puzzles and spend time with her family.

At Bethlehem, Teri serves as an aide for Mrs. Sellke on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and for Mrs. Meier on Tuesday and Thursday.

Sherryl BoitzSherryl Boitz (AKA Grandma Sherryl) Child-Care Provider

This is Sherryl’s 2nd year on staff as BLP’s child care provider. Sherryl is a long-time member at Bethlehem where she has served in many volunteer positions, helping out with Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Preschool and with our Crosswalk program for developmentally challenged adults. Sherryl also sings in the choir and can be frequently be found “behind the scenes” at many of Bethlehem’s functions. As a Linfield College graduate Sherryl worked as an audiometrist, testing children’s hearing in public schools throughout Washington County. During her summers she also worked as an educational assistant with NW Regional Education Service District’s Early Intervention program. Sherryl has two sons and two grandsons to keep her busy in her “spare” time.
