Meet our Teacher Aides
Mary Heck - aide
in Mrs. Meier’s M-W-F 4’s class and on T-Th in Mrs. Sellke’s 4’s class
This is Mary's 7th year on staff at Bethlehem Preschool. She and her
husband have 3 children. They are very excited to be planning for their
oldest daughter's wedding next June! The Hecks are members of Bethlehem
Lutheran Church where Mary can frequently be found cooking in the kitchen
or singing with the choir. In her spare time, Mary enjoys sewing, baking,
reading and spending time with her friends and family.
Teri Robinson - Teri and her husband Don are proud parents
of active six-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). Teri enjoys volunteering
in her children's classrooms and at class parties and came highly recommended
by the staff at Trinity Lutheran Preschool. She is also active at Trinity
assisting in Sunday School, Children's Church and Vacation Bible School.
In her spare time, Teri likes to read, work puzzles and spend time with
her family.
At Bethlehem, Teri serves as an aide for Mrs. Sellke on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and for Mrs. Meier on Tuesday and Thursday.
Heather Kravitz Heather is very happy
to be working with young children at Bethlehem in the Extended Care program.
Reading, music and art are her hobbies and she loves sharing her gifts
with the children at Bethlehem. Heather is an Oregonian raised here in
the Portland area. She is the eldest of three children and a baptized and
confirmed Lutheran. Her bachelor's degree is in graphic design but while
working as a teacher's aide at Prince of Peace Preschool, God led her to
teaching. She just finished getting her teaching license throught the two
year MAT program at Concordia University. She completed her student teaching
at Pilgrim Lutheran School in their kindergarten class. Heather also helps
out at Forest Hills Lutheran School on Fridays, teaching technology with
the younger grades.
